Our wooden bunny fine motor board is a wonderful educational resource to use with children to develop their fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are movements which use the small muscles in the hand and wrist. These help children to build up the strength and muscle memory for using pencils to write.
As with all our Montessori inspired products we want them to have maximum learning potential. So our fine motor boards are also ten frames. Each fine motor board has 10 holes which can be used for number recognition and recognising number bonds, number pairs e.g. 3+7=10
You can use a wide variety of objects to fill our fine motor boards including chickpeas, felt balls and wooden balls. Children can use their hands or tongs to pick up loose parts to add to the board. You can find our mini felt balls in a variety of colour themes in our loose parts play collection

Our wooden bunny fine motor board is made from solid beech wood and finished in a natural raw oil.

The bunny is 15cm tall 12cm wide and 2cm thick.
